My Community Directory collects information from several sources to reconnect it back with the information owner and share it with local communities across Australia.
It is free for any organisation that provides a health or community service to list their information in the Directory. They are responsible for keeping that information up to date.
Some of the information in their listing, such as address or ABN details, are verified by third parties to ensure their accuracy.
Local Councils, Primary Health Networks, Peak Bodies and NGO's have also contributed publicly available organisational data to My Community Directory. When this occurs those organisations are notified that they now have an online listing in My Community Directory and that they have a login that can be used to update their details at any time.
We are constantly looking for publically available data sets of health and community information to grow the directory to become the most comprehensive source of health and community information in Australia and a valuable resource for communities.
