To add Services to Access My Healthcare, you need to first login to My Community Directory.


You can use this login link then follow these step to add your Service:


1. Once you are logged in to your Organisation, click View all listings:


2. Click on your location, then click Choose Service:


3. Click Create New Service


4. Fill out the details of the Service offered at that location



Tip: When listing multiple services as Specialists the first listing will require you to add a Service Title on the details page. Subsequent listings will prompt you to do this in the pop up and will also require a unique brief description, so add the service title to the description.

The Description box is for adding more information about the service.

There are 3 elements recommended for this box.

  1. 1 – 2 sentence description of the service (examples below).
  2. If relevant “Appointment is required” in bold
  3. “Please contact [relevant contact number] for more information”

Example service description:

Cardiology: “ provides cardiology services for people who require specialist support with diseases and abnormalities of the heart. Cardiologist consultations are typically recommended by a patient's primary care physician in response to either heightened risk factors for cardiovascular disease or symptoms that indicate it may already be present.”


Dietetics: “SWHHS provides clinical dietetic services for people who require assistance with diet and nutrition.”


ENT: “SWHHS provides appointments with Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist (ENT) specialists for people who have conditions of the ear, nose, throat or conditions of the head and neck.”

 

 

3. Select the relevant option for fee structure.


If you are listing the service as “no fee” due to bulk billing mention Medicare bulk billing in the description box and the eligibility and referral section in the “Other Requirements” box.

4. Eligibility and referral


For this section complete the below components where applicable. Noting for most services the phrase “Please note your referral will be categorised under clinical review and you will be booked to be seen according to clinical review.” to reflect the nature of appointments can now be added.

5. Opening Hours and Public Meetings

If you are running a clinic with regular hours or days this section allows availability to be visible. If there are no regular days or office hours this section can be left blank.


 

6. Service Delivery

This section provides an opportunity to reflect if your service only operates within your facility, meets patients at home or provides outreach services. Select all that apply.


For those with out reach services to neighbouring communities it is recommended to select the Queensland Hospital & Health Service Regions (your specific HHS region will automatically be selected).
