A Volunteer Job Ad can be created for your listing to let people know you are looking for volunteers for your Organisation or one of your Organisation's events.

Once you have Created a Volunteer Job Ad it will appear in multiple places across the My Community Directory Platform.

The Ad will appear differently based on whether you have chosen 'Yes' or 'Maybe' to Volunteer Ads on your listing.

If you have chosen 'Yes' to Volunteer Ads - the add will appear in the following ways.


  1. On Your Listing
    Any jobs you have created for your listing will appear on the live view of your Service page. Clicking on the blue buttons will take the user to the web page linked in the Volunteer Ad.
  2.  In Search Results
    Clicking the Volunteer Now button will take the user to the Service Page as above
  3.  On the Regional Community Directory for Your Location
    The Volunteer Ad will show on the Regional Community Directory based on your listing's Location. For example, a Location in Brisbane would show its Volunteer Ads on the Brisbane Community Directory.

    Clicking the Local Volunteer Jobs button will take the user to the list of Volunteer Jobs available in that region

    Clicking the Learn More button will take the user to the Service Page for the listing, whilst clicking on the Apply Now button will take the user to the web page linked to the Ad.


If you have chosen 'Maybe' for Volunteer Ads then users will still see you are potentially offering volunteer positions.


  1. On Your Listing
    The Service Page of your listing will display the text "We may have volunteer positions available for the right person. Contact us to discuss".
  2.  In Search Results
    The Volunteer Enquiries Welcome button will take the user to the Service page for the listing.
  3.  On the Regional Community Directory for Your Location
    Volunteer Enquiries appear below the Volunteer Ads on the Council Directory page
