This step-by-step guide will walk you through how to set up a widget for your website, by custom tag.
- Log in to the My Community Directory Dashboard.
- Head to Administration and then Custom Tags in the sidebar.
- Create the new custom tag (in this case test).
- Once the tag has been created, go to My Community Diary and on the Diary homepage, click the log in button at the top of the page.
- Go to the region you wish to search (in this case Coffs Harbour).
- Once on the Coffs Harbour page, search for events that you want to appear in the Tag Widget.
- Click on the event to view the Event Details page. Towards the bottom right, there is a Custom Tags section.
- Click the little pencil icon next to the Custom Tags section, select your custom tag from the pop-up, and select save. Repeat from step 7 for each event.
- Back in the Directory Dashboard, go to Tools and then Widgets, and then create a new Event Widget by Tag.
- Select your custom tag and add the widget code to your website as required.
